Former Uzbek parliamentarian, opposition politician Nasrullo Sayid has been wanted by the Interior Ministry. Former MP, who flew from Istanbul to Tashkent on April 20, was sent back to Turkey by the DHA.

Nasrullo Sayyid is at the top of the list of “Attention Search” hanging at Tashkent International Airport and other locations.

He was wanted on April 20 when the Tashkent International Airport arrived. However, the Border Guard Service has not been included in Uzbekistan.

“When I got to Tashkent, I told DXX officer that I was being searched by the Prosecutor-General’s Office, let me get hold of me, but I did not listen, and I was sent back to Istanbul,” said a former parliamentarian.

Nasrullo Sayyid was found on a wanted list under Article 4 of the Criminal Code:

The BBC appealed to the Uzbek Prosecutor-General’s Office to clarify the situation.

Officials have not yet answered that question.
